Tonya Van Slyke currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Industry Relations for the Northeast Dairy Producers Association (NEDPA), with decades of experience working within New York's dairy industry. For over three decades, NEDPA has been a farmer driven organization that serves as the voice, the resource, and the network for dairy producers while supporting them in navigating the challenges and demands of today’s evolving business climate. In addition to providing resources, guidance, and opportunities to members, Tonya, alongside the Board of Directors and staff, advocate on behalf of family dairy farms and affiliated agribusiness partners to ensure the viability of New York's dairy industry for generations to come. Representing dairy's voice on various state advisory committees and workgroups is critical for the future of the industry. NEDPA empowers the farmer voice at these tables, as well as with policymakers, and on their own farms via farm tours and media opportunities.
