Aaron Standage is a Field Supervisor for the FDIC in the Phoenix field office. Mr. Standage supervises the staff of risk management field examiners and is responsible for the FDIC’s supervision and examination of financial institutions throughout Arizona and Nevada.
Mr. Standage has examined and supervised banks with the FDIC for more than 22 years, including new insured institutions, Industrial Loan Charters, and large, multi-bank affiliated companies. He has participated in and supervised hundreds of Safety and Soundness, Bank Secrecy Act, Information Technology, and Trust examinations. He has participated in Shared National Credit (SNC) reviews at some of the world’s largest insured depository institutions and was the SNC coordinator for reviews at six foreign institutions.
Mr. Standage has served as an Acting Assistant Regional Director in the Chicago and San Francisco regions. He was an instructor of the Examination Management School at the FDIC’s Corporate University in Washington DC.
Mr. Standage is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and he graduated with honors from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a finance degree from Arizona State University.
