Kaitlyn Schwantes enjoys supporting entrepreneurs in developing and achieving their ideas. She is the Grant and Project Manager for the Nevada SBDC as well as a Business Advisor based in Henderson, Nevada. Kaitlyn leads the Nevada SBDC team in special projects designed to get capital to small businesses throughout the state - including Clark County's TEAP, DETR's Nevada RISE, and US Dept of Treasury's SSBCI Technical Assistance program. As a collaborator on state and local economic development projects, she ensures small business needs are being heard and incorporated into funding projects. For close to nine years now, she has been advising small business owners on growth strategies from the start to end of their businesses. Her focus is on balancing the numbers with the people side of business - using data driven decisions to connect entrepreneurs to next steps with the right people around them. She enjoys traveling to new places and discovering ideas to bring back to clients, colleagues, students and friends.
