Mike Parkinson is JetBlue’s Vice President of Airports Experience overseeing the airports operations and customer service experience. Mike joined JetBlue in December 2003 as the Ground Operations Manager at JFK. He later went on to open JetBlue’s operations at LaGuardia and Newark airports, and was Director of Ground Services.
Mike started his career at Northwest Airlines, spending 24 years there before joining JetBlue. He began as a ramp agent in Philadelphia, later working in eight different stations and various roles, including Customer Service Manager in Memphis, and Station Manager in Portland, ME; Manchester, NH; and LaGuardia airport.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys kayaking and is an avid reader. He is also a former rugby player.
