Ryan Busby was appointed to the Senior Executive Service in August 2023. He is currently serving as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Operations and Information, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. Mr. Busby serves as the principal advisor to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Management and Comptroller in their role as the advisor on all matters related to financial management and comptrollership. He is responsible for oversight and integration of the Army's financial operations, shaping the policies and programs that ensure robust fiscal stewardship. His responsibilities include Financial Statement Audits, internal management controls, and the modernization of financial information systems to improve the Army's accountability.
