Kathryn VanScoy has been with AMC since July 2008 and is currently the Division Chief of the Audit Readiness Division. Ms. VanScoy enlisted in the Army as an accounting specialist after high school and spent time in the DC area, Germany, and Fort Hood. She joined the federal service as a GS-1 summer hire and has worked various positions with Army, DoDEA, DFAS and private industry. Her goal in her current role is to drive Army audit success through efficient and effective communication, standardized business processes, and effective management of audit priorities. Her wide variety of experience provides a solid foundation for not only understanding the complexities of the audit environment but also understanding the criticality of collaborative solutions to challenging remediation efforts. Ms. VanScoy�s college education includes a BS from the University of Central Texas and an M.B.A. from Long Island University. Additional training includes Army Acquisition Corp Level 3 Certification in Business Financial Management, Level 3 DoD Financial Management Certification, and Certified Defense Financial Manager-Acquisition.
