Mr. Corbin Neiberline is an Audit Partner in KPMG's Federal Practice based in Washington, D.C. With over 25 years of dedicated experience, he specializes in providing financial statement audit and performance improvement advisory services to some of the largest and most complex federal departments and agencies. Corbin possesses deep technical expertise in the standards that govern federal financial reporting. He has led numerous audits in accordance with Government Auditing Standards (the Yellow Book) and OMB Bulletin No. 24-02, Audit Requirements for Federal Financial Statements. His extensive experience encompasses the authoritative guidance issued by the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB) and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). Leveraging his strong federal and technology base, Corbin offers clients meaningful insights to navigate their most pressing accountability and reporting challenges. His work has been instrumental in helping agencies enhance their financial operations and meet their mission-critical objectives. Corbin is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Maryland, College Park, where he remains actively involved as a lead campus recruiter and a member of the Smith School Dean's Advisory Board. He also serves as the Board Treasurer for the Northern Virginia Science Center and is the Vice President of Practice GNP for the American Accounting Association.
