Lisa Kaseman joined Conifer in 2006 and currently serves as Senior Vice President, Development Operations on our Conifer Leadership Team. She is responsible for leading a team of 8 professionals across all aspects of real estate development, from conception through construction completion across the East Coast. Lisa focuses primarily on new construction, preservation, and substantial rehabilitation developments throughout Conifer’s development portfolio. Lisa has more than 17 years of multifamily development experience, which includes development of mixed-income communities, mixed-use communities, supportive housing, historic preservation, and brownfield redevelopments. She has worked closely with several funding agencies to develop high-quality, state-of-the-art housing. Lisa has a B.A. in Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School, where she was a member of the Affordable Housing Law Clinic. She also received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo School of Social Work, with a community concentration. In 2018, she received the Louis H. Swartz Memorial Award, honoring distinguished JD/MSW alumni from the SUNY Buffalo School of Social Work for demonstrating a commitment to social justice. Lisa is the co-chair of the New York State Association for Affordable Housing (NYSAFAH) Developer’s Council and on the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York’s Advisory Council.
