Danny Stoesz is an experienced regulatory leader with more than two decades of technical and compliance expertise in Alberta’s safety system. A journeyman plumber/gasfitter since 2005, Danny began his career operating his own plumbing business before transitioning to public service with Alberta Municipal Affairs in 2012. He is certified as a Safety Codes Officer in the plumbing, private sewage, and gas disciplines. Danny has held several key roles within the province, including technical advisor, senior contract manager overseeing inspection agency agreements in unaccredited areas, manager of compliance programs overseeing administrative penalties, and currently manager of codes and standards dev. Known for his practical field perspective, collaborative approach, and commitment to public safety, Danny brings a strong blend of technical knowledge and regulatory insight to his work.
