Brock Olive is an experienced education and workforce development leader and currently serves as the Executive Director of the Alberta Onsite Wastewater Management Association (AOWMA) and the Western Canada Onsite Wastewater Management Association (WCOWMA). In these roles, he leads provincial and regional initiatives to advance professional training, industry standards, and sustainable workforce development within the onsite wastewater sector. With more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience spanning higher education, professional learning, and strategic partnership development, Brock brings deep expertise in building industry-responsive education systems that align with real-world practice and emerging regulatory and environmental needs. Prior to his work in the wastewater sector, Brock held senior leadership positions in post-secondary and continuing education, including Executive Director roles in corporate training and credential program development. Across these roles, he has led multidisciplinary teams, launched competency-based learning models, and built collaborative partnerships connecting education providers, industry, and government. Brock is recognized for his strategic approach to learning innovation, credential frameworks, and stakeholder-driven program design in support of workforce sustainability and professional excellence.
