Sarah Miller, CISSP, CIPT, CIPP/US is an Insider Threat Researcher for the Enterprise Threat and Vulnerability Management team in the CERT Division of Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute. As a member of that team, she focuses on developing mitigation strategies that can be applied to insider threat programs and protecting our Nation’s critical assets. Sarah’s has research interests in analytics and insider collusion and recruitment. To support the mission of the CERT National Insider Threat Center, Sarah is co-chair of the Open Source Insider Threat (OSIT) information sharing group for industry insider threat practitioners. Sarah graduated cum laude with a BA degree in English and Psychology from McDaniel College. She holds both a MA degree in Rhetoric and a MS degree in Information Security Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
