Stefan Buerkle is regional president and head of sales for the Cross-Domain Computing Solutions division at Bosch for the Americas region. In this position, he leads the business where Bosch develops application-specific vehicle software as well as vehicle computers, control units, and sensors. This division shapes the future of vehicle electronics and software through its holistic portfolio that spans from reliable exterior and interior solutions such as cameras, radar and ultrasonic sensors as well as high-performance vehicle computer platforms and E/E architectures, to software and service solutions. Buerkle previously held regional president and global sales positions in the United States and Germany in addition to spending time as a global project leader and participating in Bosch’s management development program. Buerkle earned a master’s degree in Sensor Systems Technology from University of Applied Sciences Karlsruhe, Germany and a Master of Business and Engineering from Steinbeis University Berlin, Germany. Buerkle also participated in the Global Leadership Executive Program at Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon. In 2021 Buerkle was honored as an Automotive News ‘Rising Star’
