Rich Vanitvelt is an automotive technology veteran with over 32 years of experience at General Motors, where he helped pioneer the company’s infotainment and connected vehicle systems. As an Infotainment Manager and Chair of Software and Calibration Change Board, he drove the creation of GM’s first in-vehicle apps, oversaw infotainment system development and led Software Lifecycle processes. Rich also led multiple Cadillac vehicle programs as an Electrical Systems Engineer where he balanced quality, cost, and performance. Today, he advises OEMs and suppliers on software quality, reliability, and connectivity—helping them apply proven practices to modern vehicle development.
