Anna Gifty Opoku-Agyeman is an economist, author, and speaker whose work has been featured in Teen Vogue, The New York Times, Slate, NPR, Marketplace, and more. She is the co-founder of The Sadie Collective, a nonprofit addressing the lack of Black women in economics. In 2020, she became the youngest recipient of the UN CEDAW Women’s Rights Award. She holds an M.A. in Public Policy and Economics from Harvard Kennedy School, and is currently pursuing her PhD.
