Sandy Swearngin has 25 years of experience as an industrial hygiene compliance officer with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration in the Bridgeport Connecticut, Jacksonville Florida, Savannah Georgia, and Oklahoma City Area OSHA Offices. She worked 3 years as a safety specialist with NAVFAC SE in Jacksonville, Florida, and provided safety and health oversight for employees and contractors in the southeast region. She currently is an Assistant Area Director in the Oklahoma City Area Office. Prior to coming to OSHA, she worked 10 years as a registered medical technologist in a Kansas City, MO hospital.
