Stephanie Jones is the Director of Innovations for Maryland’s Developmental Disabilities Administration. She has been in her role for a year and a half.
Stephanie received her undergraduate degree from Bennett College for Women and her master’s in public administration from Purdue University Global.
She comes to Maryland from North Carolina with 20 plus years of professional leadership experience working with special population groups in behavioral health. In her previous position with a managed care organization in North Carolina she led a specialized team of case managers that covered 20 counties that worked with adults and children who had been dually diagnosed with IDD, mental Illness and substance use disorder.
One of her duties with Maryland DDA is overseeing the Employment First Initiative, ensuring all Marylanders with development disabilities have the services they need to obtain a position in the community that is competitive and integrated as they work towards building their best life as they define it.
In her off time, she enjoys traveling, cooking and going to the theater.
