Nichole Richardson is Chief Counsel and Acting Administrative Director for the Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC), where she brings extensive legal and regulatory expertise to the oversight of California’s workers’ compensation system. She is widely recognized for her skill in navigating complex regulatory processes, leading stakeholder engagement efforts, and delivering effective public presentations. Nicole has a strong track record in drafting and implementing regulations, advising on key programs such as the Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) system, Medical Provider Networks, and the Medical Treatment Utilization Schedule, and fostering collaborative relationships among diverse stakeholders.
