Dr. Daniel Izquierdo Cortazar is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Bitergia, the world’s leader in Business intelligence applied to the production of and collaboration around Open Source software in various industries, including automotive. He earned his PhD in free software engineering from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid in 2012. His research specialized in software development analytics, with a focus on data quality, metric research, and data-driven analysis. Dr. Izquierdo Cortazar serves on the board of both CHAOSS (Community Health Analytics for Open Source Software) and the InnerSource Commons.
