Klemens Schrattenbacher, born 1975 in Vienna, is the BU Head for Mobility of Appsfactory, a full-service digital agency. After studying informatics at the University Technikum Vienna, he was responsible for data networks and introducing 3G technologies at T-Mobile Austria. As next career step joined Canadian technology company Research in Motion and established an App ecosystem for BlackBerry Worldstore. From 2018 onwards he was responsible at BlackBerry Germany for the Enterprise and Government for the Cyber Security Department and the growing demand on Cyber Security in IoT. In September 2023, he joined forces with Appsfactory GmbH, a key digital agency in Europe, leading the Business Unit for Mobility and working together with OEMs (Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Skoda, Cariad and Daimler-Truck) as well as Tier 1 suppliers (e.g., Harman and Schaefller) on digital projects. With a strong focus on innovation, he drives the development of cutting-edge mobility solutions, leveraging AI, connectivity, and user-centric design to shape the future of digital experiences in the automotive industry. His expertise extends to in-vehicle payment, HMI development, Android Automotive apps, Automotive App Life-Cycle Management, global web presence, and car configurators—ensuring seamless integration and long-term success for digital products in the mobility sector.
