Dr Swarup Mandal is currently Global Head of Automotive Engineering at Wipro. He has spent more than thirty-one years in the Automotive Industry. He led many transformational initiatives related to both technology and business. He is instrumental to drive growth, build partnerships with ecosystem partners, trying out new technology for early adoption viz, autonomy, software defined, AI, Agentic AI and physical AI. He brings deep knowledge in the areas of cybersecurity, safety and user experience which are important topics in Automotive. He filed a dozen patents in the automotive engineering domain and participated in formulating technology standards, including standards published by ISO/SC7 work groups. He also published more than 41 research papers in reputed International Journals and Conferences.
