Tushar Mathew is an Actor-Creator from India. Not having lived in any one place in the world for more than five years taught him that telling good stories is a powerful way to make connections. This first led him to a Bachelor's degree in Mass Media, but then he discovered physical theatre. A Certificate in Acting and Theatre Making from the Drama School Mumbai and an MFA in Ensemble Based Physical Theatre from the Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre quickly followed. He is currently an Instructor and the Marketing Director at Dell’Arte. This year he co-founded the Otherland Theatre Ensemble and created and performed two original shows: Eli and The Bear which toured to the California Institute of the Arts in June, and Forgive us, Gustavito; which won “Best of Fringe” at the Charm City Fringe Festival in Baltimore in November.
