Dr. Carrie Cwiak is professor of gynecology and obstetrics and epidemiology at Emory University. She is the Chief of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Inpatient Service Line for Emory Healthcare and Vice Chair of Quality for the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. She is the Director of the Complex Family Planning Fellowship. She received her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Connecticut Health Center. She completed her Complex Family Planning Fellowship and master of public health degree in epidemiology at Emory. She is active in training fellows, residents, and medical students; speaking and writing to educate trainees and providers; advocating for the people of Georgia, and collaborating in research in abortion, contraception, sexual and reproductive health, and general obstetrics and gynecology.She completed her Complex Family Planning Fellowship and master’s in public health in Epidemiology at Emory. She has been active in training fellows, residents, and medical students; speaking and writing to educate trainees and providers; advocating for the people of Georgia, and collaborating in research in abortion, contraception, sexual and reproductive health, and general obstetrics and gynecology.
