Melanie Deal is a nurse practitioner with over 25 years of clinical experience. She received her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of California in San Francisco and is board certified as a women’s health and as a family nurse practitioner. Melanie currently practices at UC Berkeley Health Center. She has served on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH) and clinical faculty for the California STD Prevention Training Center. Her areas of special interest are contraception and sexually transmitted diseases.
