Dr. Rovesti graduated at Parma University in 1982 and has been working since the beginning of his career at the veterinary clinic M. E. Miller, in Cavriago, Italy. He has spent visiting periods at the universities of Zurich, Colorado, Florida, North Carolina and at the Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston. He passed the ECVS board exam in 1997. Dr. Rovesti has presented about 200 lectures in national and international meetings including the American College of Veterinary Surgeons Conference. He has been director of the AO advanced course and of many orthopaedic courses. He has been orthopedic consultant for the Vienna University for the years 2009-2010. He is chief of the surgery at the Miller clinic. He authored about 60 publications, some of those on international journals, three sections of the 2005 edition of the AO manual, and a chapter of the book, “Complications in Small Animal Surgery”. His main interests are intraoperative skeletal traction, arthroscopy, stifle surgery and hybrid external fixation.
