Ethiopia Bisrat Zeleke, Doctoral Candidate in Earth Systems Science at Florida International University. Six years of experience in lecturing at Addis Ababa Institute of Technology (AAiT) and a demonstrated background of working in the research industry. I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and Master of Science Degree in Water and Environmental Engineering from Addis Ababa Institute of Technology. I was amongst the 10th batch ENTRO interns working on the application of remote sensing for irrigation monitoring and management for the Eastern Nile Basin. I am currently working on optimizing the process of tracing a drought signal across systems and sectors with particular focus on basins in Ethiopia.
