Jeff Bodner is a Senior Principal Engineer and Technical Fellow in the Neuromodulation division at Medtronic working on neurostimulation leads and targeted drug delivery products. As a practitioner of FEA and CFD methods, he actively promotes the increased use of computational models in medical device design. He currently serves on the ASME V&V10 sub-committee and is a former member of the ASMEV&V40 sub-committee, both of which deal with standards related to verification and validation of models. Prior to Medtronic, he worked at Boston Scientific and Guidant. Jeff has a bachelor’s and master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
