Dr. Bradley Dennis is a clinical educator and healthcare leader, board certified obstetrician/gynecologist of over 35 years’ experience with expertise in women’s healthcare delivery and minimally invasive gynecologic laparoscopic surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he completed his internship and residency at Pennsylvania Hospital, University of Pennsylvania Health System.
Dr. Dennis holds a Master’s of Science Degree (MS) in Administrative Medicine from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine, Madison, Wisconsin, with concentration in Ethics and Health Law. He has served on Ethics Committees within the Cleveland Clinic Health System and at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, focusing on ethical decision making and the culture of ethics.
He also holds a Master’s of Public Health Degree (MPH) from the Harvard University School of Public Health with concentration in community health and health policy. At that institution, he focused his research on palliative care of the underserved in the inner-city Boston area related to access, racial disparities and the optimum delivery of equity healthcare services.
Dr. Dennis served as President and Chairman of the Board, Health Legacy of Cleveland, a non-profit 501 C 3 Foundation to guide efforts to increase the pool of African -American physicians and Dentists in the Greater Cleveland area with the vision to eliminate healthcare disparities.
Before transitioning from clinical care and relocating to South Carolina in July 2017, Dr. Dennis was the Founder, Owner, and Physician Manager of Premier Women’s Health Inc, Cleveland, Ohio, Medical/Administrative Director of the Otis-Moss-University Hospitals Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio, Medical Director, Eastside Physicians OB/GYN, Inc, Meridia Health System, Cleveland, Network Medical Director, Omnia Inc, North Eastern Ohio and Director, Division of Gynecology, Department of Surgery, Meridia Health System, Cleveland, Ohio. He was Clinical Professor, Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Health, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine/Health System, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and served concurrently as an Adjunct Professor, Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Lake Erie, Pennsylvania. He remains a special invitee to the Physician Leader Forum, Joint Commission, 2015 to the present.
Dr. Dennis has received numerous awards and honors, including the Outstanding Service Award, Cleveland Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, where he served as its President, Outstanding Award for Community Service, Alpha Omega Chapter Award of AKA, Proclamation, Office of the Mayor, City of Cleveland, Ohio, 20th Anniversary of Health Legacy of Cleveland.
