I work with public finance clients – primarily with New Hampshire municipalities that need to borrow money to meet their capital and operating cash needs. My expertise also helps healthcare organizations and educational institutions as well as businesses that issue debt to finance capital projects through the New Hampshire Health and Education Facilities Authority and the Business Finance Authority of the State of New Hampshire. Many of our clients are public entities, including a majority of New Hampshire’s cities, all of its counties, and most of its towns, school districts and village districts along with Massachusetts and Vermont municipalities. My finance work includes bond issues of all sizes and degrees of complexity, including both new money and refunding issues as well as tax anticipation note borrowings. I provide counsel in both public offerings and also private placements with the New Hampshire Municipal Bond Bank, the United States Department of Agriculture, and numerous financial institutions.
