Nathaniel Steier, P.E. has an innate commitment to quality and safety, and is fascinated by design and the process of taking a solution from “page to stage”. His alma mater is the Universiy of Southern Maine. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) Electrical Engineer in New York and New Hampshire, and can leverage over 15 years of experience in manufacturing and industrial environments.
He has strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills – extending through hardware, software,
firmware, PLC, and networking realms. This experience has been gained from studies, the lab, the factory floor, and – especially – the field. He has worked on many cross-organizational projects, spanning HVAC, BMS, Lighting, Plumbing, and Industrial Automation (PLC, HMI, VFD). He has commissioned many AC drive and motor projects.
He has manufacturing UL 508A certification as QMTR (Qualified Manufacturer Technical Representative).
Currently, he is the interim chair of the local IEEE Long Island Section Power and Energy Society.
