Aspen Hazel, MA, LPCC is a mental health counselor who attained her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from Colorado Christian University. She services clients anywhere from age 8 to age 60 with a variety of concerns including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, grief, familial issues, conflict in relationships, self-esteem, and so much more. Her approach to counseling is collaborative and incorporates a unique mixture of techniques that include a multicultural perspective on life's issues. One of her passions is to help her clients and those around her develop proper coping skills and increase their self-awareness. Aspen also sits on the governing council of the Colorado Counseling Association as the Multicultural Counseling Subscription Liaison. Social justice and advocacy are such an important part of Aspen's life and part of her goal in life is to provide education on the adversities that people of color face and how that relates to their mental health and well-being.
