Leona Dölger studied Theatre Studies and Audiovisual Publishing in Mainz. During and after her studies, she worked at various theatres in festival organisation and as an assistant director. In 2017, she followed up with a Master's degree in Staging the Arts and Media at the University of Hildesheim. In order to deepen her artistic research in the fields of social justice, diversity and participation, she went to the University of Glasgow in 2018 and completed her studies in Theatre and Performance Practices. There, she explored artistic engagement with and performative mapping of marginalised voices/narratives, trauma and empowerment, among other topics. Since 2020, Leona has been working as a diversity agent for the Theater Bielefeld.
