At Honda, Kazuo Tsubouchi is in charge of developing the next-generation E/E architecture and software PF to realize SDV. He has been involved in embedded software since 1991, and started his career as a development engineer and team leader for FA products, and moved to a Tier1 in 2001. He was then in charge of developing the software PF for car navigation, and in 2013 commercialized a car navigation system using multi-core and Linux. Since 2018, he has led the development of the software architecture and software PF for the next-generation integrated system. In parallel with product development, he has been in charge of OSS activities such as AGL and Genivi, and standardization activities such as AUTOSAR and JASPAR, and served as PL for AUTOSAR and WG chief for JASPAR. He moved to Honda in 2024, where he remains to this day.
