John Wentworth is Chief Deputy of the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office in Oregon. A 24 year prosecutor, he has served as the head of the Domestic Violence and Vulnerable Adult Unit since 2010 where he handles cases ranging from misdemeanor assault to aggravated murder. John is recognized statewide as an expert in domestic violence, sexual assault and elder abuse and has trained hundreds of prosecutors, police officers, parole and probation officers, victim advocates and community partners in the investigation and prosecution of elder abuse and family violence. John received his bachelor’s degrees from Oregon State University and his law degree from Lewis and Clark Law School.
