Jennifer Wheeler is a licensed professional counselor and has been a forensic child abuse interviewer at CARES Northwest for 15 years. Jennifer is a member of the Regional Service Provider team, as well as a member of the OCFIT (Oregon Child Forensic Interview Training) faculty. Jennifer has provided trainings on a variety of topics related to forensic interviewing and child abuse and assisted in the revision of the recent 2018 edition of the Oregon Interviewing Guidelines. She previously worked as a Multnomah County Mental Health Consultant with the CARES Northwest Family Support Team. Ms. Wheeler has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Oregon State University and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark College.
