Janae Jurkowski is a Victim Advocate with the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office and has been with the county since 2005. Janae is the Rural Advocate for the Victim’s Assistance Program working primarily with victims of interpersonal and family violence in the rural communities. In 2018, Janae completed the Advanced Course on Strangulation Prevention as part of a multidisciplinary team from Clackamas County and is involved with the Strangulation Response Initiative. She has a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and has worked with vulnerable populations for 25 years.
