Ms. Megan Gyorda is a dedicated business professional with over 12 years of experience in training, financial operations, and military customer support. As the Workforce Integration Branch Head for the Department of the Navy (DON) Financial Management (FM) community, she spearh eads the strategic goal to "Enhance a Highly Skilled and Engaged FM Workforce to Support the DON’s Mission." A key highlight of her leadership is the development of the first-ever DON FM Training Academy, which delivers comprehensive curricula to financial management professionals across the enterprise.   Previously, Ms. Gyorda held several progressive roles within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Financial Management and Comptroller) (OASN (FM&C)). As the Workforce Training & Development Specialist, she managed engagement strategies for the DON’s nearly 9,400-person FM workforce. She also served as an Operations Manager supporting the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Financial Management and Policy) (DASN (FMP)). During her tenure, she was detailed to the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller), where she supported the Senior Policy Advisor on foundational financial management policies, including audit readiness and systems strategy.   Ms. Gyorda began her government service with OASN (FM&C) in May 2018 as a Financial Management Analyst and Executive Assistant to the DASN (Financial Management Operations). Prior to her government career, she held impactful roles in the private sector as a Program Analyst, Training Analyst, and Accounting Specialist with ZENETEX LLC, Imagine One Technology & Management, and The Wills Group.
