Ms. Kimberly Scott serves as the Director of Workforce Development and Training within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA (FM&C)). In this role, she leads enterprise efforts to develop, certify, and sustain a highly capable military and civilian comptroller workforce prepared to meet evolving fiscal demands and emerging technologies. She also leads the Strategic Communications and Organizational Strategy teams, overseeing the delivery of leadership messaging, briefing materials, and communication products, and aligning strategic initiatives with Army financial management priorities and transformation objectives. She directs the implementation of the Department of War (DOW) Financial Management (FM) Certification Program for approximately 15,000 Army personnel. She also oversees centrally funded training initiatives, including strategic partnerships with Syracuse University and Finance and Comptroller (FC) Connect. In addition, she leads the first line of effort in the Army Financial Management Strategy, focused on strengthening workforce readiness through enhanced tools, training, and professional development. A career civilian with more than 35 years of federal service, Ms. Scott has held a broad range of financial management roles across the Army. She began her federal service as a Department of the Army Intern with the Military District of Washington. Her experience includes key assignments within the Army Budget Office and the Financial Operations Division of ASA (FM&C). She has also served with U.S. Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM), U.S. Army South, the Army National Guard Bureau, the Army Reserve, and the National Defense University. Throughout her career, she has served as an accountant, budget analyst, and program analyst. Ms. Scott is a graduate of the Defense Comptroller Program at Syracuse University, reflecting her enduring commitment to excellence in financial management and public service,
