Dr. Ian Fields, MD, MCR is an Assistant Professor of Urogynecology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Fields completed his undergraduate training with honors in Biology at Loyola University Chicago. He then attended Loyola University Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine where he earned his MD with honors. He completed Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency at Northwestern University and fellowship in Urogynecology at OHSU. He also completed a Master of Clinical Research degree at OHSU while in fellowship. In addition to his clinical role, Dr Fields is also Program Director for the OHSU Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency. His research area of interest focuses on changes in the urogenital microbiome and their effect on lower urinary tract symptoms.
