Professor Nandagopal has over thirty-eight (38) years of industry, consulting, managerial and academic experience.
Industry and consulting experience have been in the areas of chemical process design, design, and engineering of piping systems (including pipe stress analysis), fluid mechanics, heat transfer, material selection, engineering design, HVAC systems and energy systems.
Managerial experience includes experience as Executive Director and Treasurer of a technical professional organization, Program Coordinator of the Process and Piping Design degree program at the University of Houston-Downtown, USA, and as Senior Technical Manager of several engineering projects in a private engineering company.
Teaching experience includes over thirty (30) years of developing and presenting intense review courses and customized training programs for industry practitioners and engineers and twenty-six (26) years as a faculty member in the University of Houston-Downtown including fifteen (15) years at the level of Associate Professor.
MS in Chemical Engineering, University of California, Santa Barbara, USA. Completed coursework towards Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas, USA. US Citizen.
