Martin Walton works for Lutheran Care, in the capacity of Regional Coordinator of the Community Connections Program (CCP), in the Barossa, Light & Lower North Region. The CCP was the first service in Australia to adopt the Social Prescribing Medical Model. In 2024 he co-authored 'Co-Designing Social Prescribing for the Barossa'. His focus is on implementing Social Prescribing across South Australia.
