Elaine Stern has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. In 2018, she commenced social prescribing in Australia as manager with Primary and Community Care Services and managed the first Australian social prescribing research program with iCare. Since then, Elaine and her team at Primary and Community Care Services have continued to expand social prescribing across workers' compensation, carers, and psychosocial support sectors to improve mental health and wellbeing. Elaine is committed to designing and delivering evidence-informed approaches that enhance the quality of mental health and wellbeing in the community.
