Professor Nikki Rickard is a registered psychologist and Research Director at the University of Melbourne's Centre for Wellbeing Science, where she leads the Digital Wellbeing Communities research Hub. She explores youth-friendly interventions for wellbeing, where she harnesses digital technologies to create digital tools that are safe, inclusive, empowering and effective. She is also a passionate educator and researcher in the field of music psychology, with a special interest in the emotional and social benefits of music engagement. Nikki currently serves on the Board of Music Victoria, and has previously held terms as President of the Australian Music & Psychology Society and Asia-Pacific Society for Cognition of Music.
