Roxanne is a master’s candidate at La Trobe University, exploring human-animal-nature relationships through the lens of positive psychology. Her research is influenced by a lifelong love of animals and the environment, early education in environmental science and zoology, experiences in Landcare, protected area management and wildlife conservation, the contributions of these experience to personal wellbeing, lived experience of neurological disability and sepsis, and evolving interests in behavioural science and nature prescriptions. Roxanne is also a rehabilitation volunteer, board member and subcommittee chair at Friends of the Koala, and, as a multi sepsis survivor, contributes to projects as a consumer/patient representative for the Consumer Partner and Advocacy Program and Shaping Sepsis Care Steering Group.
