Tracy was an urban planner and is now an early career researcher at Swinburne Social Innovation Research Institute and the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making & Society (ADM+S). With a BA and MA in Urban Planning and Community Development, she has worked on projects that aim to understand and visualise the ways that spaces and places impact individuals and communities and translate these findings into usable and accessible resources for community. Her most recent project is the Australian Research Council Linkage project (LP200301335), Activating Social Connection in Outer Metropolitan Communities. This project focused on translating research into practical, accessible frameworks and tools—developed through co-design—for use by communities, organisations, and government to activate, strengthen, and measure social connection (www.social-connection.au).
