Courtney Honchin is a Principal Advisor in the Community Cohesion and Engagement team within the Queensland Government’s Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety. She currently oversees Queensland’s Social Prescribing Trial in partnership with ASPIRE and ten Link Workers across the state, supporting community connection and wellbeing through evidence-based, locally led approaches. Formerly with the Queensland Office for Youth, Courtney led youth engagement, policy, and co-design projects and initiatives, including the development of the Young Queenslanders Strategy. With an interest in psychology and a Master of Business Administration in progress, Courtney brings a systems-thinking approach to complex social issues. Passionate about early intervention, co-design, and human connection, Courtney strives to create fairness and equity within systems, empowering individuals and communities to lead change and thrive.
