Caroline is the Agricultural Business Development Specialist for Schoharie County, NY where she lives. In this role she supports farmers, food businesses and entrepreneurs through technical assistance, grant funding support, and identifying new market opportunities. Prior to joining the County, she lead market research and food system analysis for seven years at New Venture Advisors (NVA), a national food business consulting firm. Her projects have spanned across the U.S. from California to Virginia to the Oneida Nation in Wisconsin. Caroline has an M.S. in Sustainability Science with a concentration in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a B.A. in Environmental Policy from Barnard College, Columbia University.
