Mark is the CEO of MC Squared Enterprises Inc (MC2) an independent consulting firm with in-depth expertise in business, food safety and technology development and deployment. MC2 works with organizations that are focused on improving public health.
Mark has extensive international business and technical experience. He recently served as COO of Matrix Sciences and has previously held positions as CEO of QCL, Corporate Vice-President of R&D at Silliker Group Corporation (Merieux Nutrisciences).He has also held positions within the food industry as Section Manager for Microbiology and Food Safety at Kraft Foods and Corporate Laboratory Group Leader at McKee Foods Corporation.
Mark has experience in various technical, quality and business functions and is an active member of IFT, IAFP ,AOAC and ASM (American Society for Microbiology).
Mark has served on the advisory boards of the food science and nutrition departments at both Cornell and Tuskegee University. He also spent time on the board of S.T.O.P.
Mark is a graduate of University of Georgia with a B.S. in Microbiology and also holds an M.S.A. from Columbus State University. He is also a registered clinical and public health microbiologist with the American Academy of Microbiologists.
