Matthew Howe holds an M.A. in Social Science: Student Affairs & Diversity from SUNY Binghamton and a B.S. in Adolescence Education: Social Studies from SUNY Oneonta. He has been working at HVCC for 14 years and is currently serving students as Associate Dean of Academic Advisement and Retention. He has 20+ years of experience in higher education including academic advising, career development, adjunct teaching, college readiness, and student success. He is a strong advocate for students, including his daughters who alongside his wife inspire him every day and are the music in his life.
