Originally, Kai Lampka started a research career in formal analysis of real-time systems, where he became a (tenured) associate professor for embedded systems at Uppsala University, Sweden, in 2016. Today, Kai is working as Senior Expert at Elektrobit Automotive GmbH and voluntarily lectures at TU Kaiserslautern. His professional interests are about the use of modern performance-centric multicore processors in automobiles with a focus on type-1 hypervisors, the related firmware/driver and fast and secure boot strategies.
