Pearl Ivory, an Elder in the Lord's Church was ordained Pastor in 2018. She has been in ministry for over 20 years. She continues to live a life that is pleasing and acceptable to God. Pearl has been in education for 20 years, five years teaching in an early childhood facility and 15 years in public education. She has taught math for grades 5 through 9 in Houston as well as abroad, in Abu Dhabi. Pearl has recently come out of the classroom to focus on training other teachers, which has been a dream of hers since completing her Master’s degree in 2014. As well as teaching abroad, Pearl has been able to travel to many countries in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe where she gained a love and respect for all cultures around the world. She has learned a lot about tolerance and endurance as well as acceptance while traveling. It is this love for education, traveling and learning new cultures that has led Pearl to this arena of presenting. She feels it is important to share with all who will listen, that we all have a plan and a purpose for being here. “Each and every one of us has a journey to travel, a path which leads us to our destiny. However we get there is not important…just as long as you get there.” Pearl is in the final stages of writing her first book, “My Journey to Becoming…The Best Version of Me!” She believes that, through her sharing her story and journey people will be inspired to continue on their path of self discovery and finding their own rhythm to push them along the way. Pearl hopes to use her love of education, building relationships with diverse people, and serving the community, along with her family to push the vision of their non-profit organization, Life After Life Inc. She stands behind the vision of the company; to rebuild the community by healing the family first. If you have any future questions, Pearl Ivory can be reached at pearlivory07@gmail.com.
